It has been 20 years since our first involvement with data centres consuming just a few hundred kilowatts. These days we are involved with facilities that need several megawatts to power them. During this period our focus has increasingly centered upon the reduction of power consumption by employing better methods of construction, more effecient cooling and tighter control.

Utilising our extensive experience we have developed the Cryocentrix control system – a system that has increased data centre infrastructure efficiency by over 21%.

Extensive testing has indicated that when applied to a typical 2MW data centre at current rates this could equate to a saving of approximately £280K per year in energy costs and a reduction of over 1,500,000 kg of CO2 per year.
